Elevate Funding Announcement

$50,000 from the City of Austin

Students and teaching artists in rehearsal through one of our many school partnerships.

We are grateful and thrilled to have been awarded $50,000 from the City of Austin through their Elevate Grant program. Funding from the city will make an immediate and direct impact on Austin Soundwaves programming this year, supporting our growing community-based work and our long-standing partnerships with schools throughout the city. The Elevate Grant offers $10,000 to $75,000 grants intended for for arts organizations, individual artists, and creative businesses that produce culturally vibrant and diverse artistic content.

Last year alone, we served more than 1,100 students through our 23 school partnerships and community programs - this new funding helps us continue growing and building on the work we do every day!
