School Partnerships
We provide direct services to support elementary, middle, and high schools to launch, grow, and enhance their in-school music programs. Our vision is a world without barriers to music education, which starts with ensuring every school has an equitable in-school music education program.
Group performance with eleven 6th-grade beginning orchestra programs from the Austin Independent School District.

OUR UNIQUE APPROACH
We lead multi-year partnerships that create measurable outcomes for students, teachers, and schools. Using our Equity in Music Education Framework, we focus on systems-level change by planning with school leaders, teaching and mentoring students, and coaching music teachers.

WEBB MIDDLE
SCHOOL PARTNERSHIP
Our teaching artists provide weekly sectional support to Webb's growing orchestra program. Currently, over 80 beginning and advanced musicians are participating in the orchestra.
AUSTIN ACHIEVE HIGH
SCHOOL PARTNERSHIP
Last year the band program rebooted with over 150 students, most of whom were first-year musicians playing on instruments donated by Austin Soundwaves.
IDEA MONTOPOLIS
SCHOOL PARTNERSHIP
We worked closely with IDEA’s music directors in the 2021-2022 school year to support students through sectionals and in-ensemble rehearsals for over 20 hours per week on-site.
